The Sweet Auburn Festival: Where Culture is Discovered
Just a random Saturday my dad decided to take a drive downtown Atlanta and we stumbled upon the Sweet Auburn Festival. There was so much excitement in the air; you could feel the closeness of the people. I just thought to myself ,"this is our culture." Food, fashion, music were all wound up into a cultural trinity at this historical festival. In addition to the wonderful CDs I obtained, I also found out about a new local designer Yanise Monet (hence the wonderful peach feather mini dress).
